Guard Tour Readers

These are specialized RFID readers. With OLED, keypad, GPRS, and even GPS, they bring efficiency for the management of remote workers. Applicable fields include security patrols, daily recording of salespersons, time and attendance of cleaners and other property maintenance staff, etc.

Besides proximity reading, the data collectors have the following major functions:

1. Direct event input

Users can pre-set parameters into a reader, and then select or input parameter values from the keyboard directly. This function simplifies event recording.

2. Remote data transfer

The reader sends data directly to remote database. Data delivery requires easy configuration on IP address and gateway, and to press one or two buttons.

3. One-key instant alarm

There is an obvious alarm button on the top left of the keyboard. Press on this button, the reader will send out a pre-defined sms to certain number in the phone’s call list, followed by automatic call of another certain phone number.

4. Show unsent records

The reader displays all unloaded records in the ‘Query’ menu. At the end of a day or a shift, the operator can check in this menu, so as to make sure all records have been delivered to the control centre in time.

5. Limited calls

The devices can allow operators to call or answer calls from set numbers. As such, it ensures there is no line busy when control office needs to talk to the operators. Also it avoids irrelevant expenses on voice communication from the reader.

So far, the reader is able to work with our new V9.9.1 web-based guard tour software. Alternatively, development kit is available for integrators to explore other applications.
